Holly crap Don, Limburger cheese on a burger? Wow.
Well all your cooks look excellent so I will take your word for it.
Art you have to like Limburger but I do and thought they were delicious! The Limburger spread I us is a little milder than the Limburger in a block. Don
Don I grew up with a bunch of 2nd generation Germans in Wisconsin making, buying and eating Limburger.
I found the the best use Limburger Cheese was, in the winter time, to put it on the back side of the heater in a teacher car I did not like.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Don, those burgers look great.  I love Limburger, can't find it here in the Deep South, but spending most of my adult life in the Cincinnati area grew up on it.  Grandpa and Dad always had some on hand.  Haven't seen the spread lately, I used to buy Moose brand of Limburger, haven't seen it when making trips back home.
What brand of spread did you use?
Sometimes you have to go in a circle to reach your destination.

My Dad used to eat it all the time but I never cared for it growing up; I love it now. The brand was Amish country made in MI here is a link.

From what I understand Chalet Cheese Creamery in Monroe,  WI is the only manufacturer of limburger cheese in the U.S. Whenever we are near Monroe we bring a cooler of cheese home. Some of which is limburger, much to the dismay of Mrs Hikerman! ::)
