That is a pretty piece of meat! The last time I saw grill marks that nice we accused one of our members of using a majic marker.  ;D

Thanks yall! The steak on the plate was one I did here at the house. The one in the turn in box was the one we won the World Championship with. Once angain, THANKS for letting me on here and be a part of all this food info! We are going to drift off in another type of competition cooking and ALL of the tips will help.

Steak sauce? What is that?  Just kidding. Trust me, I can screw em up so bad that we can't dump enough steak sauce on it to make it worth eating. I cooked some last Fall that MY DOG walked away from  :-[
I keep some handy for an emergency.

I looked at this about three times today on my smartphone and it looked like two steaks in that little picture. Waited to get home to see this beast and it is a steak of great magnitude. Thanks for sharing and nice job!!

Who needs side dishes (or utensils for that matter), when you have MEAT!!!???  A friend of mine stopped at Kreuz in Lockhart on his way back from San Antonio last weekend. I guess I was supposed to warn him about the eating brisket and sausage off of paper with his hands thing.  Oops!  :P
