Embedding Videos in Your Posts - Latest Update

The Video Embedder plug-in for the forum is now updated to the latest version.  This update added some new features and fixed older issues.

Relevant Updates/Fixes:

● YouTube embedding issues - fixed!  Secure site URL's are now fully supported.

● Support for Vimeo videos has been added, and can now be embedded in posts per the instructions below.



Embedding YouTube videos:

1) Copy/Paste the link using the YouTube "Share" Button:



*Note: You no longer need to delete the "s" from the "https".



Embedding Vimeo Videos:

First, ONLY videos that have a "Share" button can be posted!  Rental videos CANNOT be posted!

To post your own, or shareable Vimeo Videos:

1) Copy/Paste the link using the Vimeo "Share" Button:

One Final Note:   If you preview a post you will only see a video link, as videos do not show until you click the "Post" button.
