Stuffed PBJ Mushrooms
« Reply #-1 on: September 29, 2016, 09:00:33 PM »
So I had some extra mushrooms leftover,  fairly large in size and wondered what I had on hand to stuff them with.  Not wanting them to go to waste i did a little experiment..hollowed them out and then mixed a 50/50 mix of crunchy peanut butter and jelly. Then topped  them with smoked chopped bacon. Smoked them for about 25-30 minutes. The combination of sweet and salty were pretty awesome. Wife loved em, I loved them and super easy. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Sorry but it's not an April fools joke. Must put the bacon on it though. Some of the best recipes are found by experimenting. Just don't over cook it, you don't want it to run out when you take a bite.  I promise you won't gag.
