This
recipe is by Nicole Poirier, from Anova Culinary, as a copycat Starbucks egg bites recipe. I followed the recipe as written.
I didn’t have 4 ounce jars so I used my 6 ounce ones. Here they are filled with the mixture and waiting for the Anova to come up
to 172 degree.
Egg bites in the Anova for 60 minutes.
Out of the hot tub after 1 hour at 172 degrees.
You can either eat them in the jar or use a butter knife or small spatula to remove them.
My test plate. Looking at the photo it appears that they may be a bit over cooked and dry. This was not the case. They were
definitely not dry and were very flavorful. I do believe that if my wife had not been at home I would have eaten all 6 of them.
I will be making this one again and trying different types of fillings. Something like an omelet in a jar. There are numerous
variations on the Anova Culinary website.
