Beef Sausage Advice Needed
« Reply #-1 on: July 04, 2013, 06:26:08 AM »
Hi all.  I've got a larger version of these and want to know the best way to cook it today:

I've got my grill with the six grill grates and the BEESR.  What's the best way to cook this thing?

Thanks!

Well I believe that is already cooked so you just need to decide how you will re-heat it. I personally like to cut those into slices like pictured on the package. Then sear in a cast iron skillet with some onions and bell peppers.

You could also skewer the pieces along with some bacon pieces. Maybe add some onion chunks and some pineapple chunks. Then grill while basting with some Mr.Yoshida's until you get a real nice color.

That gets my vote!  I have done that but used just onion & bell pepper on the skewers and baste with regular BBQ sauce. YUM!

Hard to go really wrong with sausage!
You could cut a slit in it length-wise, and stuff some cheese and jalapeno slices in it, cold smoke it then grill it.......
BBQ is neither verb or noun. It is an experience.
