I didn't have any lump so I used the Kingsford competition charcoal I have.  I did crack the lid and cooked it at about 375 for an hour and 15 minutes.  The last 10 minutes I let the heat come up to around 400 (just like the PBC expert on here has shown).  It worked like a charm!  I have a Maverick 733 which helps a lot getting the PBC dialed in to the temps you want.  My wife doesn't eat much chicken, but now she insists that I buy more because it was so damn good!  She told me last night that she is now officially in love with the PBC.  I gotta say that it is one of the best purchases I have ever made...this thing is money!

great looking chicken man, well done!  where do you live and what temp was it outside?  that is awesome that you were able to keep temps using kings blue at higher than 350.  when i did my drumsticks last week i hit 406 but steadily dropped to settle in the 350's for the majority of the cook.  it was in the 30's outside and i used about 3/4 basket of charcoal.  when i put my second batch pbc settled in around 297 ish.  im thinking i need to use a full basket of kings or just go to using lump for my chicken cooks.

I live in Oregon and the temps were in the 50s outside.  I was using Kingsford COMPETITION charcoal...not the blue...so we are clear.  This charcoal burns hotter than the blue which was great for this chicken cook.  I can get two 18 pound bags of it for $20 at Costco.
