Fathers day ribs
« Reply #-1 on: June 15, 2014, 10:31:06 PM »
I had my Dad over tonight for some BBQ.  I made up 3 racks of baby backs, 4 ears of corn and 1 skewer of baby red potatoes.  I used Memphis dust on the 2 racks.  Then put the Weber rub from their app on the other.  Memphis dust won hands down, not that the other was bad.  It was the current champion.  I put butter, brown sugar, and some paprika on the corn.  Wrapped it back up and hung it.  I normally add the corn about an hour after I put the ribs on.  The potatoes got a bath in olive oil and Mrs Dash.  Those go on at the same time as the ribs.  The ribs today were on for about 3hrs, at 260ish.  I don't think I could of timed them better, I just wish I had some better photos.  Everything came out great, I also used 2 chunks of cherry wood.  Thanks for looking.
