Custom waterproof box and cable management for Tappecue
« Reply #-1 on: September 18, 2016, 06:19:56 PM »
This is my take on a custom waterproof enclosure for a Tappecue V2 temperature monitoring system.

It might give you some ideas that you can use with your own cookers and equipment.

Let me know what you think.

Tappecue makes a nice waterproof enclosure, but I wanted to take a slightly different approach to the way the cables enter the box.

Installing magnets on to any enclosure is something to consider... assuming that the cooker is not constructed from a non-magnetic stainless steel alloy.

Cable turtles are great for cord management, and powering a v2.0 Tappecue via a battery means one less AC cord to run.
