Beer Battered Fish Filets
« Reply #-1 on: February 14, 2018, 07:36:21 PM »
Needed to do a lunch today, and my time was short.  Had some leftover creamed cauliflower and decided on some VandeKamp frozen beer battered fish filet. (COSTCO )Gruyere cheese topping for the cauliflower, and my own tarter sauce  for the fish.  15 min on air fry @425.  Warmed the cauliflower in the microwave, then melted the cheese using the broil function, 60 secs.

Batter was med crisp, and the fish was done and tender, very tasty, no oil needed.

Tommy, the fish comes in the box with the batter applied, my guess is it was flash fried for a short time.  It is not as good as from scratch, but it is pretty darn tasty for in a box .

That does look good.
I have found that fish filets do very well in the air fryer.
