excellent cook man too bad we weren't up there to enjoy it with ya'll.  my first tip cook solidified the pbc purchase for me it was sooo good.  the specific cut of tri tip just looks delicious on its own and i think the pbc beef rub does it really good justice.  fantastic cook, im happy you got the results you were looking for.  i bet you won't be using that chimney for the pbc anymore huh....

No probably won't be using the chimney for the PBC anytime soon considering I bought 2x64oz bottles of KF lighter fluid...also, yes we could TRY to get dad to buy one, but chances are it would be used about as often as the grill (i.e., NEVER unless I'm there). One of us will just have to throw the PBC in the back and make the trip. It will be easier once I get a truck instead of an SUV...
