Have you tested this one yet?

Just saw it got rave reviews on America's Test Kitchen - and looks like another way to enjoy a Weber Kettle.... What say you? Will it cook a quality clam pie? ;) ;D

I hope so !  Just found a place in CT next to the club that serves a clam pie ......shells & all  ??? ??? ???   Got to try it.

As far as this one it looks good but man it costs more (when you add the cost of the grill) then the one Mike has & I have. It is a lot of bucks. I will stick with my gasser for now.

I do have a friend that cooks his on an 22 inch weber for the Jet games...IMO it is just fair. He just uses a stone but this thing may be a beast of an oven.  As far as tailgating with it I wonder how it handles travel???

Anyone out there have one?

The America's Test Kitchen guys mentioned that it hit 900F....so I thought it may be a good one for fast Neapolitan pies...?

I agree but if I spent that kind of money now.......my wife would hit 950F ;) ;) ;) :D She hid the checkbook :'( :'(  LOL

But I do agree 900F will do it. I think I get between 700 & 800 F on my unit depending on the outside temp.

But again as far as pizza ovens I am a one & done for now.

Ouch, that is pricey. I do pretty good with my Camp Chef pizza oven that sits on top of my Camp Chef stove.
