I just pulled the trigger on this and on my way to pick it in store. Anyone use this model, and what do you think of it?

Looks nice.  Since I already have a dehydrator, I don't need one right now.  It is much bigger than my current one.  Always good to have options for when it crashes, and it will one of these days.

I'd like to read more reviews on it too, great price and since there is no GM store within 250 miles of me it will ship for free with no sales tax.

I've heard great things about LEM. I don't do enough to warrant that size, but for the price it really looks good. Nice buy!

Thanks Rad, now I've got one on the way. ::) Seriously though I have been looking for one for a month. I figure the price is right. I don't mind if I have to rotate racks a few times.

Just got it home and it a bit bigger than I thought but that is good. I have been making a lot of jerky lately and now some of the guys at work want me to make some for them. My coast is just the meat. If you want 3#'s buy me 3#'s, I will do the rest. My wife also wants to eat more dry fruit and for the price you can’t beat it.

It will make it easier than using the smoker and when it rains I can still dry

Me too, I rotate them in the smoker anyway.

I smoke jerky in the Bradley for a few hours and finish in the dehydrator in the basement.  Easier to cull in the dehydrator.

Rad, you will love your new dehydrator. I use mine at least once a week. My son loves the dried apple with cinnamon. When I do those the whole house smells just great.

Arrrrrgh.....

I've been sitting on the fence about buying one of the LEM's since this first posted.  Seems like a great price and it gets decent reviews from what I saw (except for the one odd guy who thinks he should not have to rotate the trays). They just opened up a new Gander Mountain store about 5 miles from the house this summer.

Sale ends tomorrow, so I guess I need to make a decision.....

I got to tell ya.......who needs ten trays  ::) unless you get it for a good price its just not worth it.
I ended up buying the Sedona Dehydrator and have been very pleased with it. And if I had any problems with it I would post it.  ;D ;D ;D
