Nice form work,  as far as concrete is concerned remember to keep the " water to cement " ratio as low as possible.  This will help to maintain proper quality control.   :)

Tommy - some suggestions?

Fiber reinforced mix design. 4000 p.s.i mix. Limit the fly ash. Control joints to be sawn 1/3 the depth to the slab - within 1 day of placement of concrete. Cove slab with Curing blanket and keep surface damp.   . DO NOT allow concrete contractor to spray junk "cure and seal" on the slab. Have him deduct - or agree to assist you install Lithium Siliconate or Sodium Silicate
 Lithium ( http://www.euclidchemical.com/products/construction-products/penetrating-sealersliquid-densifiers/liquid-densifiers/ultrasil-liplus/ )

 Sodium ( http://www.homedepot.com/p/Foundation-Armor-S2000-1-gal-Concentrated-Water-Based-Sodium-Silicate-Concrete-Waterproofing-Sealer-with-Densifier-and-Hardener-S20001GAL/205719971 )

Both are safe to use, and will make you concrete MUCH better....Call me as you need. This is the ONE thing I would highly, highly recommend that you do.

See specs tab on the pages - it is easy to apply - and will increase the surface hardness by 400%.  This means that you will not have dusting, an surface wear of the concrete with the kind of traffic you will have on it. This is not a coating - it is an internal sealer - that creates a chemical reaction with free alkali in the top 1/4" or so of the concrete ( where all of the wear happens). It create

Confused yet?  Let's talk the basics, I'm sure you have a contract with your contractor that states what he will use for Concrete.  4000 psi mix means that his supplier will provide a mix that will achieve 4000 psi within 28 days this is standard throughout the country and yes fly ash could be part of the mix.  fly Ash is not bad as long as it doesn't exceed 20% replacement the mix will most likely include a water reducer that will improve workability for the contractor while keeping the water to cement ratio low. This is measured by the word " slump" for your application the  "slump" should not exceed 4" which is what he should order. Fibers,  many different "fibers" are available none replace steel reinforcement whether it is steel mesh or rebar they all work better than fibers as long as they are installed correctly   As far as sealers are concerned any of the "silicon" based sealers do a good job curing is very important whether it is water cured or a sprayed membrane type proper curing will affect strength. Once again Water to Cement ratio is the key the stiffer the mix the stronger it will be.  Feel free to contact me at anytime.
