About to pull the pin on this,, I didn't see the wood pucks for sale on Cabela's site. Do you need to use the wood pucks or can you use something else?

I use these from Lowe's

Mike, Have you tried using Bradley pucks with this?

No I haven't but I think they would incinerate in about 5 seconds and for the cost of them probably not worth it.

Well, I just finished a quick cook on my new Cook Air.  I did take some pictures, but will not post them since it looks like all the other "Little Red Corvettes" on the forum.  I cooked a couple of Bubba's Burgers and they came out great.  I need to find some chunks of wood.  I found that my local Lowe's only carries the Western wood chips, not chunks.  I had to stoke the fire several times with chips to get through the cook.

All modes with the fan worked as advertised.

Yes you need to find chunks. Lowes should order some for you. Ask them to. Then they can carry them.
