Look How Big this Cabbage is!

You guys saw the Festival Squash we got at an Amish farm market during our recent trip.

We also picked up this huge head of cabbage, the size of a basketball, for ONLY a $Buck!   ???

That knife is 13" long!

OHHHH..I'm thinking stuffed cabbage rolls. Romanian style with sauerkraut and ham skin to cook over it. Beef, poirk and veal with rice. YUM.  Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Tent..my Romanian grandma made them..I grew up on them and they are fabulous. I learned to recreate them. You layer sauerkraut in between the layers of cabbage rolls and then cover them with ham skins and cook them in a roaster until done. I usally make 75ish at a time and would need more cabbage..the big ones work the best. Lots of work but who cares. did I mention they are fabulous with the other Romaian food I make like grandma made. Hungarian style has tomatoes in it, Romanian doesn't.  I am the only one left to make this stuff.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
