RIBS for the 4TH
« Reply #-1 on: July 05, 2018, 05:54:35 PM »
I picked up a MBS with Bluetooth app. (App Sucks). Still deciding if i like the electric smoker.

Two days in Italian Dressing, Worchester sauce, and Several good shakes of hot sauce. Used a rub by the master himself TMB. Great rub.

Beef ribs just got some S/P/G

Ribs pulled at about 4-5 hours

Nice pull and tender
Love to cook and eat

Ribs look great from here.

It is very easy to oversmoke with electric smokers.

You are basically smoldering wood chips.

They are not burning clean.

Less is more when adding chips.

Thanks everyone. I miss the smoke ring when using an electric smoker. I added a couple bricks to see if it would add some ring but NOPE
