I got a couple of pounds of fresh side, my mother in law made it for hubby and he loved it. I'm sure it isn't cooker or smoked, or flavored with anything. what do I do with it? Thanks. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

You can thick slice it and cook it up like you would cured bacon with a little s&p or other flavorings, I've also seen it braised but haven't tried to cook it that way. I used to have the slaughter house thick slice my bacon uncared just so I could grill it or pan fry it without all the salt.

"Fresh Side Meat" is another name for fresh (uncured) pork belly. Do a search for pork belly recipes and you'll find ideas for how to use it.
It's a popular cut for braising. Alternatively, you could cure & smoke it for bacon.
