Very cool!

Very nice!
-
The one missing piece. Finally, no more lining the thing with foil every time!
-
Looks like it would work good but it's not too difficult to pick it upside down and tap the bottom a few times
-
I like it! I need to add this to my cooking collection.

I don't like ashes left on the sides when I dump it..... I don't have a shop vac dedicated for ashes. If I didn't have a pizza pan with handles I would certainly buy one.
-
When I was running my 75 gallon Big Drum Smoker, I couldn't stand the "dusty" trail down the side, but the barrel was so tall, I couldn't foil line it. This ash pan is sweet, but I would still foil line the bottom.............
-
I have one ordered, just waiting for it to get here.

I received my ash catcher today. It is very heavy duty aluminum. I can't wait to try it out.

Stumbled out this morning to clean the PBC with the new ash catcher. I was going to time it but why? It doesn't even take a minute to clean your PBC. I removed the rebar...grabbed the handle on the charcoal basket, poured out the ash and set it back in the PBC......30 seconds tops.......outrageous.
No ashes in the bottom of the barrel....I still keep a pc of HD foil on the bottom, The Smoke is a maniac about clean grills.
I can safely say there is no other charcoal grill or smoker or combination charcoal smoker/grill on the market that is as easy to clean as the PBC. 8) 8)
With this new addition to the PBC we are looking at a set it and forget it charcoal cooker that gives steady awesome results and is the easiest to clean......we are getting close to perfection here......................
Oh, ask me how I really feel........ ;D :D ;D :D

Just an observation....Someone mentioned the ash pan - as "aluminum"...It is steel. It may be "aluminized" steel...but steel at the core. It is magnetic.
-
It is heavy gauge stainless steel 8)
