PBC Cover
« Reply #-1 on: December 10, 2015, 07:56:34 PM »
Is the PBC Cover waterproof?  I ask because on my WSMs none of the covers were waterproof and it required a plastic bag under he cover to make it waterproof.

TIA.

I would say that the coated fabric portion of the cover is waterproof. But the seam I do not think is. It would be worth asking PBC about it for sure ...I have been considering applying a water repellant to the seams from the inside of the cover - and allowing it to dry thoroughly before putting it on the cooker.

I have had good luck with the cover so far. My PBC has lived out back under its cover for 6 months so far and I haven't detected any moisture underneath. Sealing those seams might be on my to do list now though.
