How long per side please?
Art I usually go 2 1/2 to 3 minutes per side for a steak like that
Thanks and that is about the same as my Weber gasser so no change there.
Watching cooks on the Cook Air and even though I have zero justification to buy one I just might.
Art that was a big thick steak. The pics don't do it justice. And cooking over wood gives the steak a flavor and char that gas can't just provide. I personally love this grill for it's high cooking temps, quick start, and real wood flavor. It is portable and will run on batteries.
It does not do low and slow well and requires you to lift the grill to add fuel. But to me it is just that... A grill. You can cook many things on it due to the temp settings from one to five.
I thought it might be difficult to add wood when I got it but found it fairly easy with the tool they provide. It grabs the grill and diffuser together, you lift, then drop the wood in. A $10 bag of hardwood chunks lasts me longer than a bag of charcoal.
I love how I can come home and literally be cooking my steak over hardwood in about 5 minutes max. Those starter blocks I bought from Amazon that Gene turned us into work perfectly in it.
