I always wanted to learn this, and even tried to take fly fishing class in college as a gym credit. I always seemed to have a required class at the same time!  Those are some beautiful fish you have there

I enjoy bass fishing although I am not able to pursue it as much as I would like to.  I remember when rubber worms came out and when we had to learn how to tie monofilament line - the only line we had before that was a silk braided line.
Looks like you are TOTALLY into it and I know you are enjoying it.

Beautiful set up!   I use to make my own jigs, worms and so forth

Love your set up, wish I had time to make them again

Which molds do you use?   I still have Hilts from the late 90's and early 2000's .   Wish I had time to use them

Never did much freshwater but I can tell you know how to fish lol. Great looking fish. I am trying to find time to do some more saltwater fishing...Never seem to get the time. my problem is I love boating best & fishing second best. My family likes to cruise first too. Anyway I can tell you are having fun doing it. Stay safe out there.

  I love the lure's.
Hang in there. If you get a chance come down this way sometime, one of my coworkers has a Kayak Charter business on the side Alabamaredfishwrangler.com . He has Hobie Pro Angler Kayaks and once you've been in one you will never want a paddle again!
The reds and specks have been busy this year ! If they can get the flounder numbers up now the next year or two is going to be a Grand Slam.
If you get the timing right you could do a Snapper charter on the same trip.

Nice! I started to get into lure making years ago but work got in the way.
Don't give up the fight to that damn cancer and I hope you get to catch you some trout and redfish some day. Nothing like a nice day of fishing and getting the grand slam though.

Couple of weeks ago I went perch jerking and had a couple of pesky gators that would cruise by my cork and snap at it. One did catch the cork but I popped it out of it's mouth. Later it got it and I think must've swallowed that green plastic bobber. Cut the line on it's teeth and I called it a day.

Cajunate sure will have to try some steamed crawfish in your pic when I do a red and trout trip god willing. You might have to catch that gator for table fair wonder what BBQ gator would taste like I’ve had some deep fried and it was great.
