Title: First time ever traveling with my PBC
Post by: JimmyV on July 23, 2016, 06:24:55 PM
It even fit in my small two door car easy enough that it wasn't annoying. My dad's friend wanted to see who made better pork butts. Pictures to come when I get back to a computer.

Well it has taken me a longer than anticipated (mainly due to the fact that we are getting ready to move) but here are the pics. I will go ahead and say that the PBC came out the victor. The other guy argued with me the whole time about things like my needing a water pan, not being able to add more coals because he was sure I would need more than what I had, not using enough wood chunks (again he was sure I would need much more), not using enough lighter fluid (he toasted his eyebrows), putting it on too early (because my coals weren't ashed over), and that I wasn't cooking it long enough. He did 2 and I did 2. All told we fed about 40 people that day. Everyone loved it. He had to chop his because it wasn't done enough. I didn't manage to get any pics of the final product. I'm blaming the bourbon for that.  8)
