Title: calzone & breadsticks
Post by: Roget on July 25, 2016, 10:37:59 AM
Made ham, salami, ricotta, & mozzarella calzones, and breadsticks for Sunday dinner.

My calzone making skills leave a lot to be desired. :P
But everything tasted good.

I would love to have one!

I figured a pizza oven might be too hot for a calzone but looks like you pulled it off...

Looks great!  Have been strategizing on how I can convince the Mrs that we need a Blackstone Pizza Oven ;)

For the calzone I kept the bottom stone at approx. 450F, top stone 470F.
Breadsticks bottom stone 400F, top 425

Since I don't have one yet :) are there separate burners for top and bottom stones?

Just one burner. It is adjustable so you can control how much heat each stone gets. (to some extent)
With experience it gets easier to know how to adjust it to get the temps you want on both stones.
