Smoked Chicken Quarters (on sale for $0.88/lb) and Johnsonville Brats ... You should have seen the smoke ring on the brats - A thing of beauty and they were delicious!!

Your chicken can look like that too Gunny ... try trimming the excess fat and skin and then carefully peel back the skin. Rub under and on the skin with some extra virgin olive oil. Season the chicken under and on the skin with your favorite chicken seasoning. Wrap the chicken in plastic and fridge for 2 to 4 hours.
Preheat your MAK or your pellet smoker-grill to 180ºF (Smoke) and smoke with hickory for 1 hour. Increase the pit temp to 350ºF and cook until the internal temperature of the chicken quarters reach 180ºF. Rest the chicken loosely under a foil tent for 10 minutes and serve ... Give it a shot - you'll love the results.
