Title: Flat out great Turkey!

Started with a 14lb Butterball Turkey that has already been brined with a 8% solution...

Out of the package. Neck was removed from the cavity. Giblets found in a vac sealed bag and even included gravy. Gotta love butterball...

Spatchcocked and liberally coated on both sides with Instant Gourmet Original...

Sprayed with canola oil and into the fridge for a couple hours to air dry...

Onto the Memphis loaded with cherry pellets @ 180F for 30 minutes...

It was great! Moist and juicy! Instant Gourmet adds a great flavor to anything ;)

Looking good sir. How do you get the Memphis reading on the igrill? You have a pit probe too?

nice looking bird buddy.  i have to cook another one tomorrow afternoon.  i was wondering what  spice to add.  i will use the instant gourmet like you did.  thanks.  nice color.  i like the graph.

Lot of this instant gourmet going around.  need to get me some!!!

Nice looking bird.  Have 3 more in the freezer.  At least one of them is calling for some instant gourmet.

It comes with two meat probes so I used one of them for a grill temp probe. I have a metal v-clip to mount the probe just above the grill. Seemed to get an accurate reading. Not sure if they have a pit probe available.

There is a pit probe available for the iGrill. A meat probe through a ball of foil works well too.
