Love that cooker, but decided to be nice gave it to my baby sister a few years back.   Now I want another one soooooo bad  ;)

I had one of the very first production units and it was 18,000 BTU's now there 16 ,000 BTU's still a good little unit  :D

I believe it was Christmas of 2009 when Deb gave me The Big Easy - the easiest cooker EVER for turkey or chicken.

It never gets boring that's for sure! The Big Easy was a early X mas gift since my wife wants crispy potatoes on it for X- Mas dinner.

I would've never purchased one if it wasn't for you! Any thoughts how long it will take to cook 8 crispy potatoes on it for X- mas dinner? Thinking 4 on the bottom and 4 one rung up on the grate gonna coat with olive oil and coarse sea salt.  Thank you

I'd say 45 mins to 55 mins    depends on size of spuds and how crispy you want them

Nice to see a video of that cooker.

I wore out The Big Easy, The Smoker, Roaster, Grill, after many cooks gave away a Big Easy Electric Smoker and again purchased The Big Easy on sale.
It still is one of the best chicken roasters our there.
