I guess I am just a big ole sissy. I am sitting here in Alabama trying to decide if it is too cold to cook outside at 41 degrees.

Stubborn ribs!  (cold and windy didn't help matters)

Boulders started coming off around the 4-6 hour mark.

Ribs took over 6 hours.

Turkeys are chilling in the fridge, and the ribs are wrapped and hanging out in the Samsbro.

I'll vacuum seal them all in the morning for delivery to our friend's house, in exchange for some cash and beer.    ;D

I guess I am just a big ole sissy. I am sitting here in Alabama trying to decide if it is too cold to cook outside at 41 degrees.

Some of my favorite times to fire up the smoker is on a dark winter evening with a good cold snap in the air, no clouds and no wind. The smoke just lingers in the air. I love it!
