Title: Red Wine Sirloin Roast
Post by: GrillGirl@cookinpellets on January 31, 2018, 04:06:58 PM
Wanted to try something different so we smoked a 3lb sirloin roast at 180 for 2.5 hours.
No rub, no salt, no nothing.
After we smoked it we put it in the crock pot.
1/2 cup red wine and 1/2 cup water.
1/4 tsp of garlic powder, onion and celery.
1 tsp allspice mix and put in crock pot on low for 5-7 hours... make sure you get it to 145 or a bit better.
Use some of the juice to make gravy!
Serve with mashed potatoes and sides.
And, yes, I forgot to take a final picture but is was so good we polished it off and didn't remember until it was gone!
