I'll be away from the forum for a while. At least until early next month. Actually, I've all ready started travelling. I'm just down the street from Pappy in Minneapolis tonight and waiting for the big game tomorrow. Wish I had time to visit with Pappy. He seems like such a good guy that would enjoy buying me a big steak and beverage. Maybe next trip, Pappy.
As soon as the game is over tomorrow evening, I'm headed out of the country for a little work assignment along with a few thousand of my closest friends and fellow employees. I kinda lost count, but I think this will be my 12th Olympic games. Two years ago in Rio, I ate nonstop Fogo de Chao Brazillian picanha beef for every meal. It looks like this time it will be Big Macs and egg McMuffins. (Not really excited about Korean or Asian inspired food). As always, I'll be working the sliding tracks...bobsled, luge, skeleton, etc. Luckily, I have an inside job with no heavy lifting and some heating. Hope that some of you will watch. I will on my best behavior because I don't want to be blamed for starting WWIII. Someone said that we will be only 45 miles from the DMZ.
I'm returning about the first week of March and will fill y'all in on the details of this little trip. See y'all when I get back.

Thanks, Tim. I always have fun wherever I am. And I'm going to send 2400 hours of video straight to your TV for you to watch. ;)

I've never had Bulgogi. Might be a new taste sensation. Korean BBQ is kinda all right, but Kimchee is a non starter. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks, Tommy. Take care of yourself while I'm gone because I want to see you healthy for the next Gathering.

Just in case any of you will miss me.....
As that sweet thing in New Orleans said last year, "How can I miss you if you won't go away?"
More cheerleader shots tomorrow, please.
Stay warm. Eat well.

Hey, buddy, Deb and I were talking last night about the idea of you working the Super Bowl. We'll be watching the commercials.
I didn't realize you were going straight to the Olympics.
We'll be praying for you and hope you have an enjoyable stay.
Can't wait to hear about your adventures.

Have a great time tonight and the next few weeks. Very few get to have a job they truly love.

Stay Safe and say HI to "Rocket Man" if you see him 8)

"Fair winds and following seas" ... and bring back good food pics (though Fogo 24/7 will be hard to beat).
-
At least try to sneak on the camera one time and yell "BBQ"!
