Hey Guys just wanted to take a min to introduce myself!  My name is George and I am a new member here from Southern California.  I currently have a CharBroil Big Easy SRG which has made some really good food so far.  I am looking to expand my BBQ IQ and make some more good food especially with summer coming around soon!

Tommy - Great to hear from you!  I have been reading a bit about some of the mods you suggested for the SRG!  I definitely want to improve the smoking feature on this unit!

I lived in So-Cal for over fifty years:  San Fernando Valley, Crestline and Twin Peaks and Hemet/San Jacinto.

That is awesome!  Not too far away from me! I live in the Long Beach/Lakewood area

Not sure where in SoCal you are located, but a big Welcome from San Clemente, CA down near the Camp Pendleton Marine Base.

Nice, we just drove by your neck of the woods yesterday. Came back from a wedding in La Jolla this weekend. We live near Long Beach in Lakewood, so a little north of you guys!
