Title: Mixing sausage.
Post by: CANNON-MAN on November 24, 2020, 03:30:45 PM
I thought you guys like to see a fast way to mix your sausage. I can mix a 10-40 pound batch of sausage in around 60 seconds. I fold the spices and cure if first but it is far from mixed. The mixer accomplishes that process.

I found another use for my mixer blade and shaft. Here is a video of making chokecherry syrup. I use the blade to pulverize the cooked berries. I run the blade with the dull edge leading and it does not crack the seeds. It just crushes the berry skins and releases all the good color and vitamins in the berries. It made a fast way to process large quantities of berries. I don't know if you have chokecherries in your area but this is just fantastic on vanilla ice cream I throw a hand full of corn flakes in with the bowl and it gives it a crunch like eating the cone.
