I had both doses of the Pizer vaccine and still got it from my wife. I got the Regen-COV vaccine within two days after I got it. I highly recommend anyone getting the Regen if they get sick. It saved me from further issues within two days. Do not mess with this stuff!!

been away sending prayers ...Ivermectin gives you a chance

I got this message from tammy, Cliffs wife..last night.
10-12-2012
Talked to the nurse a little bit ago, they did not flip him to his belly today. He is doing really well. They stopped giving him the paralysis drug and called his name and he responded. They are going to start taking him off the sedation tomorrow.
10-13-2012
I haven't heard anything yet today. It is definitely okay to share what I have already told you. Tell everyone we appreciate their interest and would love their continued thoughts and prayers.

Update on Cliff Seiler .... He is improving. His blood oxygenation has improved enough that they have stopped moving him to his stomach and taken him off the paralysis drug. They are keeping him sedated for his comfort for right now. He is still on the ventilator. Your continued thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.

From Tammy Seiler today. 10-17-2021
They let him breathe longer on his own today but notices that he wasn't moving one side as much so they did a cat scan. He has had a stroke. They are treating it but it could affect his coming in off the ventilator. If it affects is swallowing.
Other than the stroke he seems to be improving. They said we can see him after 20 days, which is next Sunday. I'm not sure he is aware of much since he is still sedated.
Pray for Cliff... .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Today 10-19-2021 from Tammy Seiler.
He's not doing so well. I found out he had multiple strokes on both sides of the brain. There is some bleeding on his brain, so they put in an IV filter today to catch the blood clot before it does severe damage. He has fluid around his lung. We have some decisions to make in the next few days a out the ventilator.
Please pray for Cliff and family.

Update 10-21-2021
From Tammy SEiler
We are hanging in there. He is breathing better today. Yesterday was a bad day. He has fluid next to his lung and the fluid is infected and thick so it is not draining very well. He also has an infection in his lungs. They have taken him off sedation today to try to assess his mental capacity from the strokes. They have a neurologist coming in today to assess him.
We are able to see him now!!
-
Keep praying folks keep praying!!!!!!!!!
-
Hand in there Cliff. We are all rooting for you and sending positive energy your way.
-
Praying as hard as I can.
-
Sending prayers from here as well.

This is Tammy Seiler, Cliff's wife.... First of all I want to say thank you for all the support that is coming from this page. We greatly appreciate all the thoughts and prayers that you are sending our way.
Here is an update as of this morning;
He is still on the ventilator but on minimal settings. They are trying to take him off of the sedation to see how awake they can get him and see what he can do. The strokes have affected hos left side the most, he is not moving is left arm but can wiggle his toes on his left foot. Today they are trying to see if they can determine what caused the strokes in the first place.
They determined that the fluid next to his left lung is infected and are taking measures to combat that. The fluid is very thick so they are putting medicine in the chest tube to loosen up the fluid so it can drain out. He is still running a fever due to the infections.
They are hopeful that they will be able to take the tube out of his throat before we have to decide on doing a tracheostomy.
So far today is a good day. Please continue to keep him and us in your thoughts and prayer.
Thank you
Tammy
-
Just everyone keep praying!!!!!!!!!

-
Cliff is still in my prayers, thanks for the update.
-
From Tammy Seiler:
He is breathing on his own. They took him off the ventilator for a while today but he is going back on overnight. He will still be initiating all the breaths, the vent just gives him help with the oxygen.
He still is not very responsive. He's not talking. He's not moving his hands or arms. He only looks at us sometimes.
We are talking to him, sometimes he seems to respond a little. I'm trying. My mom and my brother are arriving here today to help us through this.
Still need prayers.. Pam

We are still praying!!!!!!

Update on Cliff Seiler, He is improving. We had to put in a trach
early in the week because he had been on the ventilator down his throat for 3 weeks and after that it starts to do more harm than good. He looks so much better now. He has been off the ventilator for several hours each day for the past few days. He is getting stronger each day and is moving his feet and his right hand when asked to do so. They are moving him out of ICU into a longer term care hospital Monday or Tuesday. They will be better equipped to handle getting him to a point where he can come home.
Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers over the last month, it has definitely been a long month. I would ask for your continued thoughts and prayers, he still has a long road to recovery.

From Tammy Seiler
He's been off the vent during the day for several days now, last night was supposed to be the first night they did not put him on the vent at all. Once he has been off the vent for 48 hours they consider him liberated and will remove it from the room. He is moved to the new facility and they had him sitting up for 2 1/2 hours yesterday. They are starting physical and occupational therapy, but yesterday he was being stubborn or he was tired because his sleeping schedule is all messed up. He's sleeping during the day and awake until around 3am.
What deficits are you noticing?
It's still hard to tell because he is not moving much. He also is not talking yet. I know we have not seen him move his left arm or hand at all yet.
More prayers for Cliff..and Thanks..Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
-
This is Tammy again. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, they are definitely being answered. He got moved to a smaller long term care hospital on Monday. They have the resources to work more with him. I keep telling him that he needs to cooperate and get stronger to get the trach out and to be able to come home. Please keep praying for us.

From Tammy Seiler
He's doing okay. Swelling has gone down a little. He's moving his right arm, hand, leg and foot quite a bit. I've seen him move his left foot a little but not his left arm or hand.
They are moving him out of ICU to what they call the step down unit here in a few minutes.
You sent

He shook his head in answer to a couple of questions I asked him today.
Keep praying..Pam

Many Thanks for the update, still in our prayers.

From TammySeiler today 11-6-21
His face is still somewhat swollen but his hands are no longer swollen.
Today he started talking to me. He asked for water and when I told him I wasn't sure he could have any he said, he didn't know why not. I tried to explain the trach and that we didn't know about his capability to swallow. I can give him a little water on a sponge in his mouth ever half hour or so. But the biggest thing is he spoke to me with the trach and no speaking valve. I feel like it is a huge win.
Yes he's on a feeding tube. He has lost quite a bit of weight. His arms and legs are very skinny due to not much movement in 5 weeks.
Things are looking better for Cliff but he still needs help. Pam
-
We continue to pray...

Hang in there Cliff!! We are all pulling for you!!

This is Tammy again. Thank you for all your continued thoughts and prayers, I can not express how much they mean to me and the family.
Today he is having a good day. When I got to the hospital he was sitting in a chair, which he sat in for a total of 6 hours today. He talked to me a couple of times. His physical therapy is going good and there is talk of him going to a rehab center after his stay here. They are working with him on his speech so they can get him a speaking valve. Everyday I see a little improvement.
Once again, thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
-

Tell Cliff that we are behind him every step of the way. As far as him talking, we ALL know he likes to talk!! Don't stop now, buddy!!

This is Tammy again... Cliff is getting stronger everyday. He is getting his memory back and has started joking around with his nurses and other hospital staff. He seems to be in pretty good spirits most of the time. He is getting stronger everyday and has been able to hold himself in a sitting position for up to 20 minutes. They have had him up on his feet once for a minute or two. He still has the trachea in and is ready for it to come out, hopefully will get it removed soon.
They are talking about moving him to an acute rehab facility by the end of the month. He knows he has to put in hard work in order to be able to come home soon.
Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers for Cliff and our family.

Tammy's phone died last night..I'm sure there will be updates later.
-
This is Tammy again, updating on Cliff. He has been making tremendous progress at the rehab hospital. He has been standing and even doing some walking with assistance. But due to insurance, we had to move him to a skilled nursing facility yesterday. He was not going to be strong enough to come home in the amount of time the insurance would cover in the rehab center. My prayers now are that he will continue to make progress where he is at and that he likes the new facility. He has been in one hospital he doesn't remember, one he hated and one he loved (well as much as he could considering the circumstances).
We greatly appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers through the time.
-
Thanks for the update Tammy! Praying that Cliff heals quickly and will be able to come home.
-
This is the best Christmas present I will get this year. Just great news
-
Keep our prayers coming
-
Tammy, every time Cliff comes to mind, I stop and lift him and the family up in prayer. We are thankful for the progress that he is making.
-
This is Tammy again...I just wanted to update you all. If everything goes according to plan, Cliff will be coming home this next Friday. He is getting stronger every day. He can walk about 100 feet with a walker without having to stop and sit down. He is working on going up and down steps. Later this week we will be working on getting him into a car. He can stand up on his own with little to no help, depending on the height of the chair/bed and how tired he is.
Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers that he makes it home this week and that he continues to work hard. He will have to continue on with outpatient therapy, he still has a long road ahead of him. But at least he will be at home.
-
Great news Tammy! Praying that everything goes according to plan.
