Primetime Rib-Eyes Seared on RED
« Reply #-1 on: December 03, 2011, 11:47:13 AM »
I pulled out the 3 Prime cut Rib-Eyes that I got from Costco for lunch today. They were lightly coated in gunpowder. I then fired up the 4-burner RED. Once I had the RED thermometer pegged I knew it was ready. A quick check of grill temp was 744F with the infa-red thermometer. I dropped the steaks on the grill for 3 minutes and then a 45 degree rotation for 2 more minutes. Then a flip and another 2 minutes on the other side. I then removed them for a 5 minute ride on the top rack with the burners off and lid shut.

They were jaw dropping good! I am speechless!!!
