Skrimp and Spuds on the G2G grill
« Reply #-1 on: August 10, 2014, 10:08:51 PM »
Kimmie wanted something different so I ask if shrimp sounded good and she said yes.   So I broke out the Grill2Go grill and cooked corn on the cob, potato rounds with Penzey's Chip and Dip seasoning (good stuff) and Shrimp with the butter & Penzey's seasoning brushed on top.   The word "SKRIMP" is not a misspelling but what we refer and shrimp on the grill  ;)

The butter mix is one stick real butter and two teaspoons Penzey's seasoning mixed well and brushed on while cooking.
The spuds were cut and washed in cold water to remove the starch before cooking.  I dried them real well and brushed with the butter mixture after I laid them on the grate.  The skrimp was brushed with the butter mixture while it was cooking

Hope it looks good  in the picture 'cause it was real good eating it ;)

that looks VERY good!   Told my wife today, I need to use the SRG more often.   Just been easier to fire up the CB940X, since we've had a LOT of company lately--kids and grandkids.   Not objecting, just easier to me to use the larger grill.

Looks good Tommy! love shrimp on the grill and this sounds delicious. Unfortunately, my G2G bit the dust, but I will still try this on the mystery grill.

Tommy - Did they finally add "skrimp" to the Scrabble Players' Dictionary?
