Sorry for the long delay, family issues came up then Kimmie needed to go shopping  ??? then Easter weekend hit..

So here is how I make those beans.......

Large aluminum pan..  One 7 lb can of beans added to one 15 oz can of beans, add in 10 oz of brown sugar (I prefer granulated) 14 to 16 oz's of Hunts ketchup and enough thick cut bacon to cover the top.  Mix brown sugar, beans and ketchup well the cover with bacon bake at 325 for 2.5 to 3.0 hrs uncovered.

Small pan....  One 7 lb can of beans, 6 to 7 oz's of brown sugar and 10 oz's or so of ketchup and bacon to cover.

Now true to my nature these are close estimates only as for brown sugar and ketchup, I do these beans by feel and looks but this should be close enough for anyone to make them.

I do not add meat because I always serve meat with these but I have added BBQ  (smoke added pork from the SRG  ;) )  and it works well.  But like always it's up to you on how to do them

Oh, yeah!  Hot dogs and beans.  As long as I was wearing a bean-colored shirt I'd dig in.
