Hazlewood and Alder. I'm not sure how well they would work either.
The ribs on the bag are from one of my pictures. The MAK marketing guys asked if they could use a couple of my shots for packaging and brochures. 
I have it from a good source that there's also Cherry in the mix. Got me a bag this summer from MAK Daddy himself at the Way Out West BBQ Championship. Used my sample bag of MAK Hazelnut Blend BBQ pellets with Chicken, Salmon, Chuck Cross Rib Roast, Ribs, and a Pork Roast. Had wonderful results. The flavor profiles were reminiscent of a blend of Walnut and Cherry.
