Hi,

I've been grilling over charcoal all of my adult life. I've been smoking on a Weber Smokey Mountain for 25 years. About 5 years ago I bought a Weber Genesis. About a year ago I bought a GMG Daniel Boone.

I found LTBBQ by searching the internet. I migrated here from another BBQ forum where the Administrator had a my way or the highway attitude towards his members. I chose the highway.

Welcome to the LTBBQ family :)

Soooo, after 25 years of charcoal, has your love dwindled and you now find yourself burning more pellets than charcoal?  As much as I love charcoal, that’s kind of what happened to me. Still love charcoal, but more often than not find myself burning pellets.

I think I'm just getting lazy in my old age. The WSM takes too much babysitting, I haven't used it since I got my GMG. I actually like the BBQ from my WSM better than my GMG. I like more smoke flavor.
