Prime Rib
« Reply #-1 on: June 21, 2018, 01:43:35 PM »
One of my two daughters and her husband came to our home for Father's Day.  Ms Hickory and I decided to cook them a prime rib dinner.  It was a 4 1/4 pound three bone roast.  Seasoned with S&P, GS, OP, into the Bradley with hickory bisquettes @ 210* until IT @ 125*, off and tented for 20'.

Seared the ends in CI skillet.  The daughter and SIL like med-rare.

Cut the med-rare ends, now for the rare center.

For Ms Hickory

For me ( more au jus )  Tender and a soft smoke flavor.  The china Ms Hickory used is from my Mother and over 100 yrs old.  It was a fun day.

Looks like you had a fantastic Father's Day.

Great looking Prime Rib ! ! !

Isn't it strange that, even on Father's Day, most of us end up doing the cooking ! ! !
