How many times do I have to tell you? Cigars are not just long thin potatoes and should be smoked but never roasted. Smothering them with gobs of butter, sour cream, or whatever doesn't make them edible.

Similar to what I do, except I start them in the microwave.  Also, I don't run the oven up to 400º, but will try that the next time I cook them.

Late to the party.  Had the grandkids for several weeks and both wife and I got covid while the kids were here. But I digress.  Love baked potatoes and thanks for the link!
