Smashed chicken for Dee!
« Reply #-1 on: March 17, 2013, 09:42:12 PM »
Well I was thinking of Dee and his quest for great smashed chicken.

So with that in mind I did these today.

I then added a sauce that I have been working on for ribs

Sorry pictures are not real good I used a different camera for this shot

When I saw the heading "Smashed chicken for Dee", I thought we were going to see some drunken chicken!!  I was expecting some chicken marinated in something with incohol in it.  Oh well, it still looks good!

Sorry  ;) Dee was asking for chicken that has been smashed and different methods used.  Why I thought of that is beyond me  ;D  but I did and this was the result  :D

I have a rub I make use for ribs and pork but found it works good for yardbird as well.  So thinking things should blend well on taste I made a sauce from that rub and trying different combos trying to get the right flavor.

This is the second sauce I have made from it the first one was the on the ribs I posted a few weeks back.    I added bits of onion to this one so the flavor would be a little more to my liking
