Simple Tater Side Dish, But Y'all Already Knowed It
« Reply #-1 on: February 08, 2014, 10:29:28 AM »
One of the simplist and quickest side dishes I do is taking a baked potato which can be done in the SRG, oven, or microwave quick box and then slicing them crosswise in 9/32th inch slices.  (If you ain't that accurate and skill somewhere around a 1/4 inch or so is OK)  Then I saute them until they are brown on both sides.  They are goodest done in bacon grease but butter or other stuff works  good too.  I find  seasoning them with salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning or whatever when they are hot works the most goodest.

I know four folks out there who don't know about this, but that's most likely 'bout all.

Dee

Yea Dee I love them that way but never seem to fix them enough! Another way I do some is use canned little sliced potatoes, they are already 9/32 inch thick  ;D , and fry them until browned. The canned ones have a taste all their own. Don

I take the small red potatoes and then nuke them..then smash them with the bottom of a mug and then fry them in a lil butter...most excellent. Keep all these recipes coming.  Pam   .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Ken, I put the polaroids in the slot on the right side of the laptop and hit "send".  Ain't that all I'm 'posed to do?  Dee
