Been smoking ribs and butts for 12 years now. I got started in the first Blues, Brews, and BBQ with a couple of buddies. I have competed in that in all but two years.
Last year, with the help of my son-in-law, we added a few KCBS contests. I got a third in chicken in my second contest.
I cook a couple of Webers, a Smokey Mountain and Kettle. My son-in-law cooks on a Vision.
We're thinking about six or seven contests this year.
One of my buddies, you may know him as Hub, from that first year pointed in this direction. Looking forward to hearing how and what everyone's doing.
