This is a "back to work" weekend for me after the storm in Houston so I won't be able to enjoy the holiday by cooking anything. Howsomever (Jaxon's favorite word), I'll be in South Bend, Indiana on Sat. for a little football and then in Boston on Sun. and Mon. for a little golf. My company always feeds us especially well on holiday weekends so I'm looking forward to the great food. I still remember last summer in Rio where our main caterer was Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian steak house. I gorged myself on nothing but picanha and rib eye for 3 solid weeks. Good times.
