Title: Maiden Voyage.
Post by: order66 on October 07, 2014, 08:22:39 PM
Hi Gang.
My PBC arrived Friday.
I had to work all weekend so I didn't get a chance to give her a rip until today.
Did the requisite Pit Barrel Chicken.
All I can say is OMFG!! I needed a shower curtain a towel and a power washer!!! It was so juicy.
I am all in!!
Ribs are on tap for this weekend.

Another one hooked.  ;)

I did another round of PBC chicken tonight, pictures to follow in another post, I ruined another shirt.  When I cut into the chicken the juices squirted out and shot all over the front of my shirt. :o

Got my PBC yesterday and made wings and ribs. They were unbelievable.  Better than any I've ever had in a restaurant. Today we're making turkey legs and chicken. Can't wait.

Congratulations to both of you!
What a great cooker. I love mine.

I stuck at home "consulting" today for a big project at work. Seems like the calls keep coming at the most inopportune time...still I was able to fire up the PBC, so I should have something tasty tonight.

Looks good.  I remember the inside of my barrel being that clean.  You will have that seasoned up in no time.
