When making gravy from the drippings in an SRG, Should I put a pan inside the chamber or just collect in the the drip pan? I usually put smoke chips on the bottom of the chamber.

I always just used the drip pan and you get a good amount.

That's what I did. It worked great. My rub has a bit too much salt so the gravy was over salted as well
