Kimmie found a low carb Beef Stroganoff recipe, but I went futher with it.
Original recipe called for APF (5.5 carbs per serving) but I used Carb Quick instead and used 1 Tbs less than called for (3.0 carbs per serving) or lower
Recipe...
2 lbs of chuck roast sliced thin (most fat removed)
4 oz real butter
3 Tbs Carb Quick (called for 4 APF in original recipe)
2 Tbs minced dried onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/3 cup sour cream
1 tsp mustard
10.5 oz Beef broth
Brown meat with butter and add S/P + 1Tbs beef broth. Then once browned add onion and mustard stir then add the Carb Quick with the beef broth bring to a slight boil and then turn to low for 1 hour (covered) or until meat is tender. Once the meat is ready add in the sour cream just before serving .
Should make 6 servings Very tasty
