Would love more info on the goulash
Brown 3,3 pounds of lean cubed beef, then season it with salt, pepper and paprika, remove it from the dutch oven. Now sweat 2 chopped big onions. After some minutes add minced jalapenos to taste (I had 8 or 9 deseeded pods). Then put the meat back in the dutch oven again and pour in 6-7 oz beef broth. Finally add 1 can of tomatoes and 1/2 bottle of red wine. Now put the lid on the dutch oven - I had 8 briquettes under the bottom and 16 on the lid.
The goulash was cooked slowly for 3 hours. In the middle of the time I renewed the briquettes and added the second half of the red wine and stirred drom time to time.
Are those Potato balls in the Goulash?
No, that are bread dumplings.
It's amazing to me that google can translate the whole thing from German to English so quickly!!
Oh, don't you ever trust that Google translator! ;)
