Title: University of North Dakota in Frozen Four Again
Post by: pmillen on April 03, 2015, 12:25:46 PM: Soon off to Boston for the Frozen Four. Two of my favorite teams are in it. I live in Omaha, NE so I'll root for the University of Nebraska at Omaha to beat Providence (not likely) and the University of North Dakota to beat Boston University. They'll meet in the championship if they both win. (My heart rate just went up.)

Only two hockey conferences are represented; UND and UNO from the National Collegiate Hockey Conference and Providence and BC from Hockey East.

Post by: pmillen on April 08, 2015, 09:37:53 PM: Not going after all. I couldn't score decent tickets at a decent price. I'll watch the games on TV. Some aspects of TV game viewing are better than the arena experience, anyway.

And... By staying in Omaha I can go to the riot (apparently win or lose).

Sorry guys, I just read the scores of today's games. Maybe the magic will happen next year.
In the meantime, check out the Minn. Wild at St. Louis Blues this Saturday. There's a team there for each of you to root for. That's where I will be.
