Not that I needed an excuse to make these but last night my granddaughter slept over so I decided to make some homemade rolls for breakfast for her.
These came out fantastic!
Lately I've been using fresh cake yeast instead of the dry packaged stuff. I don't know but I think this makes whatever it's used to make rise better and faster.
The dough which is like three times it's original size.

I guess I forgot to get a picture of them after they were risen. At that point they went into the fridge overnight so all I had to do was take 'em out and let them warm a bit and maybe rise a little more and then bake.
Here they are right out of the oven.
